... there's always so much to do I keep promising
myself that once I am on the plane I'll be fine. The build up to any trip is
always an exciting part of the trip. This time though, it's different. It will
be the first time I've worked as a volunteer overseas and this of course is my
first blog. I'm keeping this missive short - there's still lots of items to
tick off my listS of "things to do" but I hope it keeps everyone involved with
my adventures."
and a year later, I'm reminded how much of that still holds true. However, what a year it's been! I've been shown the silver linings that come after some of life's downers. I would hardly have believed all the changes since I returned from Florence.
The exciting news is that I am heading back to my beloved Africa. On Tuesday morning I fly to Cape Town - with or without all those items crossed off my myriad lists.
Once again I will be updating this blog where possible, and I also ask again for as many comments as possible - it's good to know that someone is reading all of this.
It will be interesting to hear about your volunteer work. What you will be doing and where?

DeleteCan you be brave and tell me who you are? My volunteer work was last year - in Tanzania.
